Hillarys boat yards, including one that has hosted a presidential bid by President Bill Clinton, is now shocked by a presidential visit by the Clintons.
The Portsmouth, New Hampshire, yard is home to the Clinton presidential library and was once the site of a major campaign fundraiser, when the Clintons were in the White House.
The Clintons visited the yard last week, as well, and are expected to continue their business there in the coming months.
Clinton, who visited the Portsmouth yard on Tuesday, made a brief visit to the site Tuesday, a person familiar with the matter said.
The person said that the visit by Clinton was “the first time a former president of the United States has visited a Portsmouth yard, which is one of the largest commercial waterfront yards in the country.”
A Clinton campaign official confirmed the visit and said Clinton was there to visit with former President Joe Biden.
The Clinton campaign declined to comment.
The Clinton campaign is also expected to announce a new campaign headquarters in Portsmouth.
It is unclear if the new office will be in the city.
The building, which would be home to a headquarters for the Hillary Victory Fund, was first announced in July.
Portsmouth has been the site for multiple presidential bids.
The former president, who served two terms in the Oval Office, hosted a bid for the White Senate in 2004.
In 2008, then-Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York, who had been governor at the time, was elected to the Senate seat vacated by Barack Obama, and later became president.
She lost to then-President Joe Biden, who was then in the Senate, in the Democratic primary for the Senate.
